A star, the lemon tree!

Lemon trees are beautiful both inside your house and outside in your winter garden. Certain species have magnificent foliage and beautiful white flowers that stem from little pink buds and are rather fragrant. In moderate climates lemon trees can be kept inside throughout winter for protection then placed outside come spring up until autumn. As with all plants, their growth is a direct consequence of exposure to light and temperature and most species will stop growing at less than 13 degrees.

Chrysanthemum against grayness.

At a time of the year when all the other flowers fade out, Chrysanthemum shines with a thousand splendid suns, its colorful flowers giving it the necessary edge to stand out. The Chrysanthemum is a hardy perennial. In Japan it is a sacred flower (being decorated with the order of the Chrysanthemum is a supreme reward). A Chinese proverb goes: "If you wish to be happy cultivate Chrysanthemums".

No other plants can stimulate our senses as much as sweet herbs

In the garden or in the kitchen their essences awaken our papillae. Altogether, a small patch of fine herbs is a garden of sensations. Mixed together or associated to other plants, cultivate them in pots, in rubbles. Origano, thyme... the choice entirely depends on the available space and its exposure to sunlight.
